Is the trimmer safe? I’m worried I might cut myself.
The trimmer is safe to use with or without the comb in place. Extensive safety tests show that it won’t cut your skin when used properly. As always, care should be taken when using any razor or trimmer, especially in sensitive areas or on delicate skin.
Can I trim to different lengths? How do I do this?
You can select from four trimmer lengths to get as neat as you’d like. Simply push the comb at the tail of the razor to choose how short you want to go - or remove the comb completely for the neatest trim possible.
Is the battery in the trimmer replaceable?
Yes it is. Just because the battery runs out doesn’t mean you need to buy a whole new razor. You can easily replace the razor cartridge and the battery whenever they need changing. The trimmer blades do not need to be replaced.
What sort of battery does it take?
Quattro for Women® TrimStyle™ uses any Energizer AAA Alkaline battery, available at most retailers.
How do I know when I need to change the battery?
The buzz in the trimmer will gradually start to sound and feel weaker. When you notice this, it’s probably a good time to buy a replacement battery. To get the best out of the trimmer, don’t let the battery run down completely. Change it as soon as you detect the trimmer weakening.
Can I plug the razor into a wall outlet?
No. It’s only operated by battery.
So how long will the trimmer blades last?
With proper care, the trimmer blades will last up to five years. You’ll have to replace the razor cartridge and the battery but you won’t need to replace the trimmer blades. Remember that proper care and storage will help you get the most out of the product.
How do I care for and store my Quattro for Women® TrimStyleTM?
Try to keep it clean and allow it to dry out between uses. To clean the trimmer, remove the comb and rinse it under running water after every use. The best way to do this is to hold the razor on its side and let the water wash between the trimmer blades. Always try to store your razor on the hanger provided.
Will the trimmer rust?
The trimmer blades will not rust under normal conditions. They should be rinsed after each use and allowed to dry between uses.
Is it safe to use the razor in water?
Yes. The clever design is waterproof so if you’re a fan of shaving in the bath or shower, this razor is perfect for you. It shouldn’t, however, be submerged.
How do I turn the trimmer on?
Simply press the button on the handle.
Do I need to keep the button pressed down the whole time I’m using the trimmer?
You only need to press the button once to turn the trimmer on. When you’ve finished, press the button once to turn it off.
Do I need to press the button while I’m shaving?
No. It’s only the trimmer that requires power.

Do I need to use a shaving gel when I use the trimmer?
No because the trimmer doesn’t get that close to the skin – it simply trims the hair. If you are shaving your bikini line with the razor, we recommend that you trim first, then use shaving gel or shaving cream to shave.
